General Use Certification
Specify "JET" for new construction where site meets all Massachusetts Title V requirements (310CMR15.00). Many local approving authorities enact regulations which are more strict than the Massachusetts Title V. For instance, setbacks to wells, wetlands, groundwater, etc. or nitrogen limitations or lot site requirements may be increased by local approving authority. Use of Jet System may allow relief from such requirements. In every case, Massachusetts Title V is written as minimum standard.

Remedial Use Approval
Specify "JET" for repairs to failed or failing septic systems where site conditions make full compliance difficult or impossible. Local approving authority may approve use of Jet System to allow:
• 50% Reduction of leach area
• 2 Foot reduction of groundwater separation distance
• 2 Foot reduction of pervious soil requirement
• Percolation rate up to 90 minutes per inch
